Important Notes
Genuine tariff
stamps are printed DIRECTLY
onto the envelope or postcard.
Forged and fake tariff stamps
are printed either onto white
paper labels or definitive
stamps of the USSR. These labels
or stamps are then affixed to
the envelope or postcard.
The printing process was
extremely rudimentary and many
small variations exist, such as
broken inscriptions and missing
pieces of town arms.
MoldovaStamps does not consider
these to be important varieties
and does not list them as such. |
